Respondents Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the notification bearing Na.Ka.No.12/2022/SH-2, dated 12.10.2022, issued by the seventh respondent as published in Dinamalar News Paper on 17.10.2022 and the consequential notice bearing Na.Ka.No.12/2022/SH-2, dated 12.10.2022 issued by the 7th respondent and to quash the same as arbitrary and illegal and further direct the respondents to proceed with the acquisition of lands as proposed under any of the previous notifications issued under Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 in relation to the construction of High Level Bridge across the river Vaigai connecting Paravai in SHU-100 and Thuvariman in MaduraiMelakkal Road Paravai Bit-I, Village. ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed challenging the notification issued under Section 15(2) of Tamil Nadu Highways Act.
2. Subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, final notification under Section 15(1) of Tamil Nadu Highways Act, has been issued and the petitioner has filed another writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.26263 of 2025, challenging the notification issued under Section 15(1) of Tamil Nadu Highways Act.
3. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to canvass the point raised by the petitioner in the other Writ Petition in WP(MD)No.26263 of 2025. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
