O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant and to disburse all the terminal benefits by considering his representation, dated 01.11.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner appointed as Salesman in the third respondent Society on 04.02.1988. During his service, he was falsely implicated in Crime Nos.42 and 122 of 2014 on the file of CSCID Thoothukudi, for which, the petitioner was temporarily suspended by the third respondent on

07.07.2014. Subsequently, he was reinstated by the third respondent on 08.02.2017. Both cases were dropped and referred charge sheets were filed by the CSCID Thoothukudi before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Thoothukudi on 30.11.2020 and 22.09.2022, respectively. The petitioner was allowed to retire on 30.09.2022. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application on 17.09.2022 to disburse the retirement benefits. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner made another representation dated 01.11.2022 by way of registered post, which was not considered, till date. Hence, the present writ petition is filed with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 01.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 01.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and

in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
