By relying on a sale deed dated 30.05.2016 in favour of the petitioner and patta No.462 in the name of the petitioner's vendor, the petitioner had applied for mutation of patta in his name. Because the said request was not acted upon, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's application would be acted upon within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to act on the petitioner's application for mutation of patta within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a 2/4
