PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.260 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER: The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 189(2), 324(4), 296(4), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS [142, 427, 294(b), 323 & 506(i) of IPC] in Crime No.260 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 08.09.2025, due to a civil dispute between the families of the petitioners and the defacto complainant, there was a wordy quarrel arose between them and the petitioners scolded the defacto complainant with filthy languages, assaulted him and also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case and they have not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4.The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that a civil dispute is pending between the parties and it is a case and case in counter. He would further submitted that the investigation in this case is going on. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Since the offences are bailable in nature, this Court directs the petitioners to surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai, Ramanathapuram District and submit a bail application. On such application, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall consider the same on its merits and in accordance to law on the same day.

6.With the above said directions, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
