ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate 1/4

Court No.I, Madurai, to expeditiously complete the trial in C.C.No.81 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Madurai, in accordance with law.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of 8 years, trial could not be completed. Because of the pendency of the trial for a long time, the petitioner is seriously prejudiced. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the trial will be completed as early as possible. 5.Considering the oldness of the crime, there shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Madurai, to expedite trial process in C.C.No.81 of 2015 pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of Five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

6.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
