ORDER
This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the Charge Sheet in S.T.C.No.1514 of 2012, which was filed by the respondent police, for the offences punishable under Sections 294 B, 353 and 506(i) of IPC., , on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner joined in the Department of Forest as an Anti Pouching Watcher on temporary basis in the year 2008. On the date of occurrence, the petitioner and one, Ganesan, who was working as Watcher in the Mundanthurai Tiger Forest, had made quarrel with one Jeyachandran, who is working as the Forest Range Officer, Kadayanallur by using filthy language claiming their monthly salary. Hence, based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, the case has been registered for the above said crime. Subsequently, after completing the investigation, the respondent police filed charge sheet before the Court concerned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and the same had been taken on file as S.T.C.No.1514 of 2012 by the learned Judicial Magistrate. Tenkasi. Now, this petition has been filed to quash the above said case.
3. Today, when this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) represented that the case in S.T.C.No.1514 of 2012 was disposed of on 12.04.2014 itself in which the petitioner and the other accused were acquitted from all the charges.
4. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
