This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Page No. 1 of 4

Crime No.343 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, F.I.R in Crime No.343 of 2022 has been registered for the offence under Section 379 IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far not filed any final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.

3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that already they completed the investigation and filed the negative final report before the concerned Magistrate and notice also served to the petitioner. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to complete the investigation and to file the final report and the already the negative final report was filed and notice also served to the petitioner, it is for the petitioner to take appropriate steps to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law. In view of the same, preserving the liberty of the petitioner to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law, this criminal Page No. 2 of 4

original petition is closed.
