O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the case in C.C.No.79 of 2020 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruppuvanam, Sivagangai.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on both sides represented that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and they have entered into a compromise and the same was filed before this Court.

3. The defacto-complainant and all the accused are present before this Court and the defacto-complainant represented that they entered into a compromise. A compromise memo, dated 04.04.2024 signed by the parties, is also filed before this Court.

4. This Court perused the terms of compromise entered into between the parties.

5. Since the matter has been amicably settled between parties and Page No. 2 of 4

they entered into a compromise and also considering the offences, it is appropriate to accept the compromise and based on the compromise, the pending charge sheet in C.C.No.79 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruppuvanam, Sivagangai, is liable to be quashed.

6. In the result, this petition is allowed and the case in C.C.No.79 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruppuvanam, Sivagangai, is quashed.
