P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 4 and 5 to survey and issue patta for the petitioner's land comprised in Survey Number 62/1A2 at an extent of 23 1⁄4 cents and the land comprised in Survey No. 62/1B at an extent of 2 3⁄4 cents and totally 26 cents of land situated at Kovilpappakudi Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2023. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the the respondents 4 and 5 to survey and issue patta for the petitioner's land comprised in Survey Number 62/1A2 at an extent of 23 1⁄4 cents and the land comprised in Survey No.62/1B at an extent of 2 3⁄4 cents and totally 26 cents of land situated at Kovilpappakudi Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2023.

2. Though larger relief is sought for in this Writ Petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be 2/5

satisfied if the petitioner's representation is directed to be disposed of within a reasonable time.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2023, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
