ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to give a police protection for the petitioner's life and limb based on the representation given by the petitioner dt. 13/10/2023.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that so far the representation that has been made by the petitioner has not been received by the second respondent.

3.Since the issue is regarding survey of land between neighbours, the petitioner can approach the Revenue Authorities for making survey. If any such representation is made to the Revenue Officials, steps may be taken under Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act by the concerned Surveyors or Tahsildar, by summoning the petitioner and private respondents 3 and 4 herein, after ascertaining the situation. If any 2/5

necessity arises they may pass orders to survey the land. At the time of surveying the land, if any trouble is created by the private respondents the Surveyor or Tahsildar are permitted to make fresh representation to the second respondent. In addition to that the petitioner may give fresh representation to the second respondent and the second respondent may act upon the representation made by this petitioner in this regard. Let the above said process be completed within a period of one month. 6.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
