PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the police authorities 1, 2 and 4, not to interfere in the civil dispute with reference to the property comprised of land and building situated at Door No. 148 and 149 (old door no. 63T), New ward 2, 8th Main Road, Sankarankoil Town in Survey No. 264/2 in which the measuring of east west 55 feet and south north 87.75 feet to the total extent of 4826.25 sq.ft which is the subject matter in MA No. 200 of 2023 in TA No. 55 of 2017 in OA No. 467 of 2001 on the file of the DRT, Madurai, within the period stipulated by this Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamu, as against the respondent police, not to interfere in the civil dispute.
2. It can be seen that the case alone is investigated and the respondent police have filed the charge sheet. Except to prosecute the charge sheet, the respondent police will not interfere with the rights of 2/4
the parties with reference to the land or possession thereof, which will be taken care of by the appropriate orders of the civil Courts only.
3. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
