By asserting that the petitioner's father had erected a mud house on the land in survey No.381/1 of an extent of 2 cents and that the petitioner 1/4
thereafter demolished the said mud house and erected a tile-roofed house thereon, the petitioner applied for a free house site patta. Since such application was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of on merits within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for a free house site patta within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
