PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 herein to survey the land in Survey Numbers 7/4, 7/5, 7/6, 7/7A, 7/7B1, 7/7B2 and 7/8A, Manavarayenthal Village, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District and fix the 1/4

boundaries, in view of representation dated 11.05.2025 within the stipulated time, which this Court.

ORDER

By relying on sale deed dated 17.05.2024 and patta No.428 standing in the names of Athiyappan and the petitioner, the petitioner submitted an online application on 11.05.2025 seeking survey of his property. On the ground that such application was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4 and learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) accepts notice on behalf of the 5th respondent. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that the petitioner's request would be acted upon after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the 6th respondent and the owners of relevant adjacent lands.

3.In view of the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to consider and act on the petitioner's application for survey after putting the petitioner, the 6th respondent and the owners of relevant adjacent lands on notice. The entire exercise shall be completed within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
