Administrative Transfer/2024, dated 18.11.2024 and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents to permit the petitioner to continue as Special Grade Foreman in the office of the third respondent.

O R D E R
The instant writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Foreman working in the office of the Junior Engineer, TANGEDCO, Somarasampettai, Trichy District, challenging his order of transfer from Somarasampettai to Kallakudi.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the order of transfer is liable to be set aside on the ground that it has been issued during the middle of the Academic year. The order of transfer has been issued on administrative grounds. The learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that due to medical reasons the petitioner may be retained at Somarasampettai.
3. Considering the fact that the order of transfer is issued only on administrative grounds, that too within the same District, this court cannot interfere with the order of transfer. In fact, if the petitioner wishes to get 2/4
re-transferred on medical grounds, it is for the writ petitioner to approach the concerned authorities and make his request for re-transfer.
4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 21.11.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No gvn 3/4
