2. I am satisfied that the District Collector, Thanjavur has submitted his action taken report. I also took note of the communication dated 07.04.2025 sent by her to the jurisdictional Block Development Officer in which it is stated that the prosecution has been recommended against the President of the local body.

3. The order passed by this Court has been complied with. The District Collector, Thanjavur District is directed to ensure that the proceedings so far initiated are taken to its logical conclusion. This contempt petition is closed.
