The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the respondent not to disturb the petitioner's peaceful running of the petty shop. 2.The allegation of the petitioner is that petitioner, who is running a small business shop, is being harassed by the respondent police and constantly threatened that they would file a case against him. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent police only conducted a search based on a complaint, that the petitioner was dealing with banned tobacco products and that they would not harass the petitioner and the allegation of harassment is false.

4.In view of the aforesaid submissions, it is needless to say that unless the respondents receive any complaint, the respondents shall not cause any hindrance to the running of the petitioner's shop. 2/4

5.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
