O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to regularize the period from 30.04.2021 to 27.06.2021 as the petitioner's service period in view of lock down imposed by the Government, due to Covid-19 pandemic with all attendant benefits by considering his representation, dated 23.06.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner joined service in the respondent Corporation as Conductor during the year 2007 and on completion of 240 days, his service was regularised in the subsequent date and promotion was also given as Selection Grade

Conductor by the respondent Corporation and he was affected with Covid-19 on 30.04.2021 thereby, he was not able to attend the duty from 10.05.2021 to 27.06.2021 and the said period is not regularised and for regularizing the said period, the petitioner made a representation, dated 23.06.2022 and the same was not considered and hence, the present writ petition is filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.06.2022 and pass appropriate orders within the time limit.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.06.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
