Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd Respondent to delete the entry No.4 of 2022 dated 21.11.2022 from the Encumbrance Register maintained by the 2nd respondent relating to the Petitioner's property comprised in Old Natham Survey No.303/1, New Survey No.418/13 to an extent of 388 Sq. ft. and Old Natham Survey No.303/1, New Survey No. 418/14, to an extent of 764 Sq. ft. totally 1152 Sq. ft. in Door No.1, North Street, Thiruvadanai Town and Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, on the basis of the order in E.P.No.11 of 2022 in C.S.No.303 of 2000 dated 27.03.2025 on the file of the Principal District Court, Ramanathapuram and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2025. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd Respondent to delete the Entry No.4 of 2022, dated 21.11.2022, from the Encumbrance Register maintained by the 2nd respondent relating to the petitioner's property comprised in Old Natham Survey No.303/1, New Survey No.418/13 to an extent of 388 Sq. ft. and Old Natham Survey No.303/1, New Survey No. 418/14, to an extent of 764 Sq. ft. totally 1152 Sq. ft. in Door No.1, North Street, Thiruvadanai Town and Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, on the basis of the order in E.P.No.11 of 2022 in C.S.No.303 of 2000, dated 27.03.2025, 2/5
on the file of the Principal District Court, Ramanathapuram and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation on 07.08.2025 to delete the Entry No.4 of 2022, dated 21.11.2022, from the Encumbrance Register maintained by the 2nd respondent, on the basis of the order in E.P.No.11 of 2022 in C.S.No.303 of 2000, dated 27.03.2025, on the file of the Principal District Court, Ramanathapuram. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be disposed within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2025, after issuing due notice to the necessary parties, including the petitioner and dispose of the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
