Mr.K.R.Badurus Jaman, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondents.

2. With the consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to issue new license to the petitioner for running Sri Esakkiamman Modern Rice Mill at No.113/28/817, Thiruvangakkam Sallai, Sankarankovil, MPTY, Tirunelveli, based on his online application Reference No.20230418104685342, dated 18.04.2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Mr.K.R.Badurus Jaman, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the jurisdictional authority to redress the grievance of the petitioner is the Regional Manager, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Tenkasi Region and not the Regional Manager, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Tirunelveli Region, who is the second respondent herein. Therefore, the application submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered.

5. In view of the above submission, the petitioner is liberty to submit a fresh application before the Regional Manager, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Tenkasi Region for the relief as stated above. On receipt of the same, the authority concerned shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
