Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to provide necessary Police protection for conducting the survey of the land to an extent of 35.2 cents comprised in Survey No.460/4B in Patta No. 4970 situated at Boodipuram Village, Bodiyanakanoor Taluk, Theni District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to provide police protection to conduct survey of the land.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police on instructions submitted that if the petitioner wants to survey the land, necessary fees has to be paid before the revenue authorities and the application must be submitted. If ultimately, the revenue authorities want to survey the land and they seek for police protection, the second respondent will provide for police protection 2/4
