This Petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 51 days in filing the criminal appeal against the judgment, dated 22.05.2025 in Spl.S.C.

No.76 of 2020, on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under POCSO Act, Kanniyakumari at Nagercoil.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State and also perused the records.

3.Considering the quantum of delay and also the reasons assigned, the delay of 51 days in filing the Criminal Appeal, is condoned and accordingly, this petition is allowed. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list the matter in the usual course.
