ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 16.02.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (c) r/w. 20(b), (ii) (C) and 25 of NDPS Act in Crime No.23 of 2022, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is alleged to have found in illegal possession of 21.300 kg of Ganja. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. CRL OP(MD). No.23062 of 2022 custody from 16.02.2022. Hence, he seeks for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit this Court while dismissing the earlier bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD).No.15969 of 2022, dated 19.09.2022 had directed the trial Court to complete the trial in C.C.No.179 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. He further submitted that only three months time have been lapsed and further the trial Court is having more than three months time for disposal.

5. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no progress in the trial Court for the pasts three months and thereby, he would seek for a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial at the earliest.

6. Taking into consideration of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the trial Court is directed to strictly comply with the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.15969 of 2022, dated 19.09.2022. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
