Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned orders passed by the second respondent, dated 08.01.2021 in Na.Ka.No.Aa4/3421/2020 and the consequential order passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.Oo(1)/286004/2023, dated 10.08.2023 and quash the same.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by the Management challenging the award passed by the Joint Commissioner of Labour under the Employees' Compensation Act on 08.01.2021.

2. Considering the fact that a statutory appeal lies before this Court as against the order under the Employees Compensation Act, this writ petition is not maintainable and the same is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner Management to file an appeal in a manner known to law. 2/4

3. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions stand closed.
