PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to disburse the provident fund amount of Rs.12,00,000/- (Twelve Lakhs Rupees) to the petitioner from the petitioner's provident fund account No.7302, so as to enable him to meet out his daughter's marriage by considering the petitioner's application dated 07.11.2024 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by an employee of the respondent Transport Corporation seeking a mandamus to disburse the Provident Fund amount of Rs.12,00,000/- to the petitioner for performing his daughter's marriage.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the marriage of his daughter was originally fixed on 27.11.2024, and hence he has given a representation on 07.11.2024, for disbursement of Provident Fund amount. Since, the amount has not been disbursed, the marriage of his daughter has been postponed to the month of February-2025. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents authorities are directed to release the entire eligible Provident Fund amount to the writ petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
