ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, her daughter and her pet.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner's complaint dated 14.12.2022 was already enquired and the same was closed on the basis of the statement given by the petitioner as well as the third respondent.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that she has also preferred another complaint on 16.12.2022 and the same is still pending before the second respondent. 2/4

4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to follow the dictum laid down in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
