ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Livestock Inspector (Grade-II) challenging the order of suspension, dated 11.08.2020.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the writ petitioner was placed under suspension on the ground that he was implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.17 of 2020 on 08.08.2020 and he was detained in judicial custody for more than 48 hours.

3. According to the writ petitioner, his suspension order is solely based upon the criminal proceedings. So far charge sheet has not been laid and no charge memo has been issued to him for the past 3 years. The petitioner has made a representation on 01.09.2023 seeking revocation of the order of suspension.

Considering the above said facts, the 1st respondent herein is directed to consider the said request of the petitioner, dated 01.09.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to submit further representation within a period of one week.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
