ORDER

The petitioner herein is the Member of 'B' Party in M.C.No.222/2013/M4, dated 29.06.2013, pending on the file of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate and Revenue Divisional Officer, Usilampatti, Madurai District. Now, the petitioner herein being the Member filed this Criminal Original Petition to quash the entire proceedings initiated by the first respondent as above. 2.On going through the facts of the case, in order to maintain the law and order problem, the second respondent, who is the Inspector of Police of Valanthur Police Station, Madurai District, lodged a complaint before the first respondent and thereby, the first respondent initiated a proceeding under Section 107 Cr.P.C. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) made a submission as on 27.08.2014 itself after obtaining a bond from both the parties, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the proceeding initiated in the above M.C.No.222/2013/M4 was closed. Further, he produced a copy of the order passed by the first respondent.

4.Therefore, the prayer sought by the petitioner in this Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous. Recording the abovesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
