ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings relating to C.C.No.367 of 2010, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Theni.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that a charge sheet has been filed against the petitioner before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Theni, on 20.09.2010 and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.367 of 2010 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni and subsequently, the said case was renumbered as C.C.No.170 of 2014, by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni. He further submitted that the trial in C.C.No.170 of 2014 has been completed and the same has ended in acquittal on 06.12.2014.

3.In view of the above subsequent developments, the relief sought for in this Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
