respondent for illegal detention, threatening and taking bribe and committing of dereliction in duty based on the representation dated 17.04.2025.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 herein to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action against the sixth respondent for illegal detention, threatening and taking bribe and committing of dereliction in duty based on the representation dated 17.04.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, the sixth respondent is guilty in illegally detaining the petitioner without giving proper reason and without conducting any enquiry.

3. The Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of four weeks.

Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
