PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order of the 2nd respondent dated 27.09.2023 in his proceedings in TN-5202307161889, TN 5202307161863, TN-5202307161839 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the 2nd respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner and her daughter and her son as they belongs to Hindu Schedule Tribes Malai Vedan Community.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ Petition has been instituted challenging the uploaded information dated 27.09.2023.
2. The said information provides no cause for instituting the present Writ Proceedings. However, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents, furnished the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani in proceedings No.e.f.5660/2023/m3 dated 08.08.2023.
3. The respondents are directed to serve a copy of the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani, to the petitioner within a period two weeks from today. On receipt of the order, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent appellate authority and thereafter, if aggrieved, before the State Level Scrutiny Committee in the manner contemplated. 2/4
4. It is needless to state that the Writ Petition is entertainable only after exhausting the remedies under the rules in force. High Court cannot conduct a roving enquiry regarding issuance of community certificate and therefore, the importance of exhausting alternative remedy cannot be diluted. Thus, the petitioner is at liberty to exhaust the remedy contemplated.
5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
