PRAYER :- This Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action against the sixth respondent for breah of statutory duty, misconduct and dereliction in duty based on the representation dated 30.09.2024 and 12.04.2025. ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 herein to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action against the sixth respondent for breach of statutory duty, misconduct and dereliction in duty based on the representations dated 30.09.2024 and 12.04.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, the sixth respondent is guilty in not performing his official duty as he has not submitted FIR before the jurisdictional Magistrate on time.

3. The Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's representations will be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of four weeks.

4. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representations and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations.
