This Writ Petition is filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to grant permission and protection to the petitioner to conduct the Public Meeting on 20.11.2023 for 3 hours i.e., 11.00 AM to 2.00 PM near Narasingam Road, Y.Othakadai, Madurai with Mike set.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on earlier occasion, the petitioner filed a Writ Petition in W.P(MD) No. 15057 of 2023, seeking similar relief, that was also considered by this Court on 27.06.2023, directing the petitioner to approach the respondent Police by giving alternative place, time and reason for the proposed demonstration. But without complying the earlier order, the second representation has been made by the petitioner.

3. Repeated applications filed, without complying the earlier order cannot be encouraged by this Court. It is a clear abuse of process of law. The petitioner has to comply the earlier condition passed in W.P(MD) No.15057 of 2023, dated 27.06.2023, then only the respondent Police can consider the present representation.

4. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
