O R D E R

(Order of the court was delivered by G.R.Swaminathan, J.) The petitioner is the wife of the detenue. The petitioner's husband is missing since 07.05.2024. The petitioner lodged complaint before the second respondent and Crime No.284 of 2024 has been registered as man missing. Since the petitioner's husband is yet to be traced, the present habeas corpus petition came to be filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's husband was working in a hotel and he appears to be eloped with one Shanthi. The said Shanthi is also missing.

3. We are satisfied that this is not a case of illegal detention. The petitioner has to pursue her remedy with the second respondent. 2/4

We direct the second respondent to take efforts to trace the missing individual. The Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of accordingly. (G.R.S. J.,) & (R.P.
