ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the representation made by the petitioner on 02.11.2023.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondents 3 to 6 said to have trespassed into the petitioner's land with deadly weapons and made life threat to the petitioner. Hence, he made representation to the respondents 1 and 2. Since no action was taken, the present petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, both the parties appeared and they have given an undertaking that they will work out their remedy through appropriate civil process, it is stated to be pending in O.S.No. 122 of 2006. On that undertaking, the complaint was closed. 2/4

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
