ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to conduct the enquiry in the petitioners petition dated 26.10.2024 pending before fourth respondent.

2. The complaint of the petitioner is for an online fraud. The petitioner now seeks action to be taken by the Economic Offences Wing. The Economic Offence Wing who are not the appropriate investigation authorities as regards the petitioner's complaint.

3. In view of the same the petitioner is directed to give a copy of the complaint to the Inspector of Police, Thirupathur Police Station who shall receive the same, register the First Information Report if empowered to conduct investigation or forward the First Information Report to the concerned police.

4. With the above direction the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
