PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus by directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey the petitioner property in Survey No.223/1 to an extent of 35 cents (14 ares) situated at Pandrimalai Village, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul District within a time frame that may be stipulated by this court. ORDER

By relying on sale deed dated 14.11.2024 and patta No.6955, the petitioner applied for a survey of the said land on 29.07.2025. On the ground that no action was taken thereon, the present petition has been filed. 2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the application would be acted upon within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.On the basis of documents submitted by the petitioner, including patta No.6955, the petitioner has made out a case for consideration of the request for survey.

4.This writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to act on the petitioner's request and take necessary action thereon within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
