Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to correct the FMB sketch in the petitioner's land in S.No. 315/2A situated at Nilaiyur Pit 2, Madurai by considering the petitioner's representation on 20.06.2024.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks correction in the FMB in respect of the petition mentioned survey number. The petitioner has given a representation only to the District Revenue Officer. The petitioner is directed to submit a formal application to the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer. Upon receipt of the application, enquiry shall be conducted and after putting all the interested persons on notice, the writ petitioner's application shall be disposed of within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. Even though the Revenue Divisional Officer is not a party, 2/4

appropriate instructions shall be given to the said Revenue Divisional Officer about passing of this order.
