ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioners have submitted an application for issuance of stone quarry lease allotment order. Since it was not disposed of the present writ petition came to be filed.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the Special Committee constituted for the purpose will have to consider the application and dispose it of within a period of sixty days. Since the said period had already expired, I direct the first respondent to ensure that the said committee is convened and applications submitted by the petitioners' sangams are disposed of within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
