ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.397 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai.

2. On 14.08.2018, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the counsel on either side requested to this Court, to place the matter before the Mediation Centre for arriving at amicable settlement.

3.Accordingly, the matter was placed before the Mediation and Conciliation Center attached to this Bench, wherein on 08.10.2018, the following settlement has been arrived at between the parties. A) The Second respondent has agreed to quash the C.C.No.397 of 2011 pending before the learned trial Court. B) Both parties agreed that there will be no claims against each other in future in respect of the issues involved in the C.C.No.397 of 2011 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.397 of 2011, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, is quashed.
