ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent 1/3

police for the alleged offence under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.8/2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner married the defacto complainant in the year 2011 and there is one male child born out of the wedlock. The petitioner is said to have once again married in the year 2023. In view of the same, there was a matrimonial dispute and there was demand for dowry from the defacto complainant. The accused persons are also said to have threatened the defacto complainant and attacked her. There are totally 4 accused persons and the petitioner is arrayed as A1.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent. 4.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that matrimonial dispute is pending between the parties and custodial interrogation may not be required in this case, there shall be a direction to the respondent Police to follow the procedure under Section 35 of BNSS Act and complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. 2/3
