Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks relief under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The petitioner is permitted to file a proper petition before the second respondent. If such an application is filed, it shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months thereafter. Notice shall be issued to the interested parties. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

3. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
