ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members based on the complaint given by the petitioner in C.S.R.No.528 of 2022, dated 17.11.2022.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, summons was sent to the private respondents and that since they have refused to receive the same, the complaint was ordered to be closed. He would further submit that the order closing the complaint, is not proper and they have already directed the first respondent Police to proceed with the complaint in accordance with law.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the first respondent is directed to follow the dictum laid down in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar 2/4
Pradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
