ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his house property situated in Survey No.456/5, Plot No.59 its extent of 61.25 Sqfts., situated in Uttakadai Ernampatti Panchayat, Pottipuram Village, Theni District, against the respondents 6 and 7 and their henchmen based on the petitioner's representation, dated 18.11.2022. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a tenant under the fourth respondent and the respondents 5 and 6 have been interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property and that despite the petitioner's lodging of the complaints, the third respondent have not taken steps.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the petitioner and the private respondents were directed to appear before the third respondent. But 2/5

the petitioner and the private respondents have not turned up. 4.At this juncture, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the third respondent.

5.Recording the said submission, the petitioner is directed to appear before the third respondent and on such appearance, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation, dated 18.11.2022 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
