ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry except under due process of law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that many cases are pending against the petitioners 2 and 3 and hence, both of them were directed to appear on 02.06.2022 for proceeding under Section 110 Cr.P.C, but they have not turned up and that when the petitioners 2 and 3 were again directed to appear, the above petition came to be filed.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that on receipt of summons, the petitioners are ready to appear.

5. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to issue summons for the appearance of the petitioners 2 and 3 and on such appearance, they are directed to proceed with enquiry in accordance with law. The second respondent police is also directed not to harass the petitioners 1 and 4 under the guise of enquiry except under due process of law.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
