ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceeding in C.C.No.75 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Cheranmahadevi, Tirunelveli District.
2. The nature of the case is that when both the sides were studying in college, on account of a clash between them, the occurrence happened.
3. Considering the nature of the offences, and the fact that major offence involved in this case is 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, and also considering the fact that the parties have resolved their issue, this Court is inclined to exercise the inherent power of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to quash the 2/4
proceeding on compromise.
4. The parties are present before this Court both in-person as well as virtually. This Court also enquired with each one of them, and all of them agreed that they have resolved the issue.
5. In view thereof, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
