PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 2 and 3 to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No. 564/2A42B, situated in Vaalaikulam Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering the petitioner's applications dated 29.07.2022 and 13.03.2023 within such time as may be fixed by this Court. 1/3

ORDER

By relying on sale deed dated 15.12.1999, rectification deed dated 04.07.2022 and patta No.3733 in respect of the land in S.No.564/2A42B, the petitioner applied for a survey of such land. Because the said application was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's application would be acted upon within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after putting the adjacent land owners on notice.

3.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application for survey and take necessary action thereon within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after putting the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands on notice. No costs.
