O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the son of a deceased employee of the respondent Transport Corporation, seeking a Mandamus to provide compassionate appointment.

2. From the affidavit, it is seen that the petitioner's father, who was working as a Conductor, had passed away on 12.11.2021 and the petitioner has submitted a representation on 07.11.2024 seeking compassionate appointment. Since the said request has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.11.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
