This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to hand over the land in Survey No. 269/2, 275/2B, 275/3 to the beneficiaries as per the allotment order in Na.Ka.No.53856/1998/Aathi7 dated 04.01.2020, on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 20.05.2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and disposed of by the second respondent/Aathi Dravidar Welfare Officer, in accordance with law, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

3. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent/Aathi Dravidar Welfare Officer to 2/4

consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
