petitioner's name and also her daughter's name in respect of the properties in Survey Nos. 599/12, 599/18, 599/9, 599/3, 606/12, 606/1A, 606/1B, 606/7, 606/9, 606/5, 606/1, 620/15, 620/18, 101/5, 103/15, 104/8, 122/3 comprised in Patta No.7472 and a property in Survey No. 103/16 comprised in Patta No.3101, and a plot in Natham Survey No. 1082/14 measuring to an extent of 110 Square Meters, a house in Door No.8/88 and a house with Door No.9/27 in Natham Survey No.1082/8 consisting of 118 sq.m situated at Serndhamangalam Village, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tenkasi District.

O R D E R

The petitioner asserts that the properties in survey numbers mentioned in this Writ Petition originally belonged to the petitioner's father, Velayutham Chettiyar. According to the petitioner, Velayutham Chettiyar remarried one Shanmugathammal after the death of the petitioner's mother, Velammal. He further submits that the children of Shanmugathammal have unlawfully obtained a patta in respect of these properties by excluding the petitioner.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the 2/5

respondents 1 to 3. On the basis of the written instructions, he submits that the petitioner's request for grant of joint patta would be considered on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and all the joint pattathars.

3. In view of the above submissions, it is unnecessary to issue notice in this Writ Petition to the private respondents.

4. Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation seeking joint patta after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the joint pattathars or their legal heirs. This exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve
