O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to re-fix the seniority and to provide promotion to the petitioner as Bursar notionally from the date on which petitioner's junior Mr.R.Govindasamy was promoted as Bursar.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working as Superintendent in the Office of Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Madurai and he made an application for re-fixation of seniority on 22.11.2022 and the same was not considered, till date. Hence, the present writ petition is filed with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.11.2022 within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
